The Susan Cunningham Jonas Burgundy Experience Fund is an endowed fund to support campers new to the Burgundy community with demonstrated financial need, both here at BFSDC and at our Cove Camp.  To apply for support please complete this confidential form. 

“Susan Cunningham Jonas loved Burgundy. And she loved helping children get the full Burgundy experience – ‘Educating the whole child for the whole world.’ – a motto she helped create. Her three children went to Burgundy, and as a Board member (1996-2003) and President of the Board (1997-2001), she helped build many of its classrooms, the middle school, and the gym. 

Before she died, she asked if we could help children who normally would not be able to get the Burgundy experience have an opportunity to taste the place. So to do that we have created the Susan Cunningham Jonas Burgundy Experience Fund. This endowed fund will provide scholarships for children to come to Burgundy’s summer camps (on the main campus or the Cove) each year in perpetuity. Her joy in helping children love learning will now go on.”
