Counselors in Training (CITs) assist our camp counselors with the day-to-day operation of the camp from 8am-4pm every day. They are assigned to a specific camp group and stay with that camp group throughout the entire session.   Participation in the CIT program places that individual on track to be a Junior Counselor when they turn 16.

CITs daily roles include playing with the younger campers, assisting with transitions between morning and afternoon programs, and helping to facilitate camp programming and projects.  In addition, they participate in team building and bonding activities with the other CITs which include meetings, group games, and projects. CITs will have chances to swim during the session, with thier camp groups and thier fellow CITs.

CITs are an integral part of our programming, helping to bridge the gap between camper and counselor. In recognition of their hard work CITs are paid a $50 stipend at the end of each session.
